Identify Sentence Structures (1)


There are four sentence structures: Simple Sentence, compound sentence, complex sentence, and compound-complex sentence. Identify the structure of each sentence below:
  1. Thida is a freshman; she is studying economics. (Compound sentence)
  2. Thida gets up and washes her face.
  3. She goes to school after she has breakfast.
  4. She walks to school everyday.
  5. She meets a girl who studies with her along the road.
  6. Thida is good at micro-economics, and her friend is good at macro-economics.
  7. They are good friends who always help each other.
  8. When they finish school, they always go to the library which is in the school campus together.
  9. The library is quiet, and it also has a tutor who can help explaining them when they don’t understand the lessons.
  10. When they have time, they also join community work which is not paid.
  11. They can also build network with people who come from different background; they have lots of experience to share.
